Free Comic Book Day

Free Comic Book Day

Free Comic Book Day is a single day when participating comic book specialty shops (like Subspace Comics!) across North America and around the world give away comic books absolutely free to anyone who comes into their shops. Free Comic Book Day is held the first Saturday in May each year.

All participating shops will be giving away special comics for this event; you cannot simply take any comic book from the rack. Each year, the comics offered change. Check the official FCBD website for a list of this year’s Gold and Silver comics.

Free Comic Book Day started way back in 2002 and Subspace Comics has been involved in every single one (albeit under our previous incarnation).

Join us this May 6th, 2017 for free comics, local artists, and a store sale!
