Here are some of our favorite books that came out on Wednesday, March 26th!
“ENGINES OF VENGEANCE” PART 1
A street race leads a young man on the FAST and FURIOUS road of destiny. Amid an East Los Angeles neighborhood running wild with gang violence and drug trafficking, a war brews in the criminal underworld! With four on the floor, Marvel’s newest GHOST RIDER puts vengeance in overdrive!!!
Hell yeah! They are not kidding… it’s an all-new Ghost Rider, ala Fast And The Furious! Felipe Smith pops out a great little setup for the origin of this latest Spirit of Vengeance, and the awesome Tradd Moore is perfect on the art. It’s a fast-paced read (get it?), but well worth it. I cannot wait for the next issue.
The universe is big. Bigger than you could ever imagine. And the SILVER SURFER, the lone sentinel of the skyways, is about to discover that the best way to see it… is with someone else. Meet the Earth Girl who’s challenged the Surfer to go beyond the boundaries of the known Marvel U– into the strange, the new, and the utterly fantastic! Anywhere and Everywhere… Hang On!
With the Silver Surfer, the stories are usually quite serious or offbeat… thankfully, Dan Slott went the offbeat route. This new series reads like an episode of Doctor Who, which is not a bad thing at all. Plus, Mike Allred has a way of making everything he draws feel a bit quirky, and in a good way. I can easily see this book taking its place next to HAWKEYE and SHE-HULK as must reads from Marvel!
BLOODHOUND #5 (OF 5)
An incredible ending to an incredible miniseries. I cannot wait for the next one to come out!
CAPTAIN AMERICA HOMECOMING #1
A “movie tie-in” title, the main story is based on the Marvel Movie Universe, but still a lot of fun. Plus, some classic reprints!
More Kate Bishop Goodness! Things are really starting to heat up for her in LA!
